Scott Whitehair first rolled into Chicago with a van full of puppets in 1996, and immediately knew that he would be coming back some day.

Scott does not possess the willpower to pass up a dive bar, charcoal grill, good book, or bicycle without partaking, and enjoys traveling more than anything else. Here are some other things he likes: horseradish, waterslides, pajama pants, jasmine, Hines Ward, campfires.

As a writer and performer, Scott has been blessed to work with some outstanding people over the last few years, including The Playground Theater, Second Story, Noah Ginex Puppet Company, WNEP, Theatre Momentum, The Reading List, and now Blewt. Currently, he can be seen improvising with the team Mort, telling stories with This Much Is True, and eating lunch in the loop.

Scott would like to thank everyone involved for this opportunity, his wife Tara for her support, and the city of Pittsburgh for its character and spirit. He wishes his fellow pitiful humans much luck, and is thrilled to be a part of such a fine group of contestants.
